AHMED AL-RADWAN LAW GROUP

Real estate and rental lawyer in Kuwait

Practical preparation for your next legal conversation.

A property matter begins with the agreement, the parties’ obligations and the records showing what actually happened.

Ahmed Al-Radwan Law Group handles property and rental matters in Kuwait. The starting point may be a lease you are about to sign, a disagreement during the tenancy or a property transaction requiring legal review.

Before signing a lease or property agreement

Bring the complete draft, any schedules and the correspondence explaining the proposed terms. Identify the property, the parties, the intended use and the person authorised to sign. Ask for a review of the obligations that matter to your transaction, including payment, maintenance, handover and the end of the arrangement.

When a rental dispute has started

  • Prepare the signed lease and any renewal or amendment.
  • Organise payment receipts, bank records and deposit records.
  • Keep notices and correspondence in date order.
  • Include available handover records, photographs and repair communications.
  • Explain the result you want to discuss and any official date already set.

A repair disagreement, payment dispute and request to end a tenancy are different issues. Explain each separately so the office can assess which documents and steps are relevant.

For foreign residents and international parties

Tell the office if you are outside Kuwait, if a company is a party or if documents were signed abroad. For a proposed purchase, ask the office to assess the legal position of the particular transaction before you make a commitment; a rental arrangement should not be treated as evidence that a purchase is available on the same terms.

The Kuwait Ministry of Justice lists land-registration and documentation services. Confirm the service and requirements relevant to your property rather than relying on a general description.

Arrange a focused review

Ask what work is included, which records are missing and whether a notice or scheduled date needs attention. If the property is part of a deceased person’s estate, see inheritance matters. If it is a business lease, our commercial service may also be relevant.
