AHMED AL-RADWAN LAW GROUP
Employment legal advice in Kuwait
Practical preparation for your next legal conversation.
A workplace concern is easier to assess when your employment documents and the sequence of events are clear.
Whether you are an employee or a business seeking advice about a Kuwait employment matter, explain the issue to Ahmed Al-Radwan Law Group and ask the office to confirm the appropriate scope of support.
Identify the issue you want reviewed
- Terms in a proposed employment agreement.
- A disagreement about salary, deductions or other payments.
- A resignation, termination notice or final settlement document.
- Communications about working arrangements or a workplace complaint.
Describe the type of employer, your role, start date and current employment status. Different circumstances can require different procedures; avoid relying on a generic online calculation as a final assessment of your position.
Documents that help explain your situation
Prepare your contract and amendments, offer letter, salary and bank records, relevant attendance or leave records, and correspondence about the issue. Include any proposed settlement or acknowledgement and the dates on which you received notices.
When a payment is disputed, list the amount, the period it relates to, the basis of the request and the supporting record. Separating each item makes it easier to identify what is agreed and what needs review.
If you are an expatriate employee
Tell the office if a work-permit, residency or travel concern is connected to the dispute. Identify any official notice and the authority that issued it. Do not assume that resolving a payment issue automatically resolves a separate administrative matter.
If your documents are in another language, retain the originals and ask which translation is required. See the document preparation guide.
Questions for your consultation
Ask which records are still needed, which authority or process is relevant, whether any dates require immediate attention, and what the proposed work and fees cover. If an employer is instructing the office, explain who is authorised to act for the company.
Businesses can also explore corporate and commercial legal support. To arrange a review of your own circumstances, contact the office.
